Just sharing some information i've found after swapping my 2024 Ram 2500 crew cab from the factory jumpseat to a full feature center console with all features working.

You'll need the following parts from the dealer, to mount the console and close the holes left on the dash from the jumpseat and trim being removed.

For the 2023-2024 trucks, absolutely DO NOT BUY the infotainment jumper harness, it's junk and doesn't provide full power, front and rear usb to work correctly. Instead order the following harness from the dealer:

The above harness allows the console swap to be a full 100% plug and play into even a base model tradesman.

DO NOT follow the infotainment install and unplug the USB hub and USB input at the back of the hub facing outward on the console. You absolutely must plug in the factory USB cable from the lower dash, into the single USB female port on the front right hand USB connector, by the console harness plug. The rectangular connector from the OEM USB hub on the lower dashboard is left disconnected, you can tuck it up into your dashboard.

Hopefully this information helps, as i've now supplied over 26, 2024 center consoles for people to install in their trucks.

You don't happen to have the jump seat from a Laramie trim, do you? I am looking to get rid of this console in favor of a 6th seat

I don't believe so, I do know a part is available for the 19-22 models, I just haven't had the time to look up the part number.
Would be interested in learning what that part number is…

Has anyone done this with a floor t-case shifter? I imagine some cutting of the console would be required. Or maybe you could do a shifter extension with a sideways bent to get the shifter further left and out of the “pocket”

Ive been happy with my bench seat, but it does feel like a bit of a waste of space compared to the full center consoles, even though I do have the armrest storage, under seat storage, and cupholders on the floor console (4th gen floor console installed).

I have jumper seat from 2022 power wagon with leather seats heated and cooled I would think it would be the same other than it doesn't say Laramie on it

Ive got the leather laramie jumper seat in seek of the full console no logos on the 24’s its just black leather. Truck has 5k miles on it seats brand new if anyone would like to trade.

Is there any alpha obd code changes needed ?

Could anyone that has done this or is doing it give me the part number from the main console wiring harness and what features they have in their console? I'm looking to replace mine with a more loaded one but there's 100s of them in my searches...
I can collect them all into a list for others to use too.
Thanks!

I attached the instructions for the seat removal. They likely won't cover that bracket removal as well, but may help. I've never done it myself as I have a full center console, but there are bolts that need to be removed from the driver and passenger seat tracks, underneath the seats. Maybe that's it?
Also looks like there's more metal bracket that goes under the carpet towards the rear of that bracket. Is there some fasteners down there too?

Here’s a question. Will a ram 1500 center console work in a 2500? Looking at swapping a center console in my 2022 ram 2500 tradesman. If u plug in the usb into the center console will the back usb and out let work as well or do u need another harness?

In one of the various console swaps threads on these forums someone asks if a 1500 console will fit and I think the answer was no but I could be wrong. And I believe you need a separate jumper harness to make the back plugs work on a truck that didn't originally have a full console.
