    Changes to DEF Limp Mode

Last post bc this is dumb, but here’s a older article from a respected fire service trade magazine on the implementation of emissions on apparatus, and the 2nd is a new article from another well respected magazine on where they are going for 2027...

    Changes to DEF Limp Mode

Fire engines and ambulances absolutely are not exempt from emission requirements since 07.5. Dpf, def, scr, they all have it. The only thing emergency vehicles have going for them are they will not 5 mph derate and you can pause a active regeneration with a dash mounted switch if in a situation...

Does this 2019 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins sound normal?

I’m not there so it’s hard to tell by a video. Could be the fan shroud projecting the noise that way. I think if your turbo sounded like that your motor would have ate most the compressor wheel by now and would have set a related underboost code.

Does this 2019 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins sound normal?

Sounds like you got a bad pulley. Try pulling the serpentine belt off and run it again. You can spin pulleys by hand and see which one is giving you the noise.
