    It does not make sense that it would. There is the same amount of filter media, the lack of the pleats ability to move around does not change that.

    Any that meets manufacturers specs will do. Supertech from Walmart all the way up to the boutique oils like amsoil. I went with Napa house brand as it was on sale at the store when I went in to buy that day.

    What years your truck? New style relay I presume? The one that’s in the pic with your air filter should go to grid relay, the other may come off the pass side positive battery post under the little plastic cover if you trace it back, let us know.
