Also, I have found that regardless of my initial setting for a/c I have to access climate control via the touch screen for MAX a/c. Just pressing the recirculation button doesn’t activate it by itself.
Call me old, antiquated, old-school…..whatever, but I prefer a travel atlas or physical paper map to the oftentimes un-predictable gps. I preplan my route and which exits/turns needed. I hate the constant commentary of “bitchin’ Betty” and route recalculations.
No need for offset with true gooseneck trailer. You are correct that it would only come into play on a jackknife scenario, and only if horse trailer is built like a 5th wheel trailer with storage or something over the neck. I would suggest a shocker gooseneck set up though as the bounce/pogo...
The OP asked if it would fit. It does. If somebody wants 5”, they will have it. Fancy wheels doesn’t do squat for performance either, yet we still buy them. The beauty with car culture is that we get to personalize how we se fit. Life would get pretty damn boring if everything was the same.

If your truck is paid off, I would keep it and save the money you would have spent on a warranty. Drive the truck and maintain as normal. You will still be money ahead vs a trade or purchasing an extended 1:year warranty.
I think train horns are yet another tool to use against people that might want to impede my path while they’re protesting some boogey man. In my case, I don’t have the horns…..yet, so they get the ranch hand up close and personal.
Although I buy batteries at Wally World, I don’t let them touch my truck…..they are even worse than the dealerships in my book. Sometimes, we don’t have a choice and I understand, but that is my stance at this point in life.
