What are you running for a console vault/safe?

I have a 2024 Ram 2500 Laramie. Center console with bucket seats. I'm looking at getting a vault for the center console. I have been looking at Console Vault for a possibility. Vault will be for a G43X and some other things. Console Vaults offer two different types, one is for consoles with a 8.89" Max Fill line and the second is shorter for consoles with a 3.11 Max fill line. Hard to see in there and no max fill line marking on wall of the console like my 22 1500 had but a measurement from floor of console to the cut out for the sliding tray is a bit over 4" so I'm thinking the 3.89" vault would be correct? I want a 4 digit combination lock and want the sliding try to still function. Anyone using the Console vault or other options?

My wife bought me the Tuffy console for my 23. It has the key set up. The sliding tray still goes all the way back. I'm happy with it. I leave the keys in the center console until I lock something in it, then they come with me.

I recently installed a Console Vault in my Big Horn. I went with it over the Tuffy because I like the way it mounts better. If I remember right, The higher measurement max fill line is for the Tradesman and Big Horn. The higher trim levels use the shorter one. I don’t remember seeing a reason for it.

I ordered one yesterday. I called them and the phone rep told me my Laramie would use the 3.89" version. I hope she was right.

You are right. I went back and looked at their website. The one you ordered fits Laramie and down. The trim levels above Laramie take the 3.11 version. I was thinking it said Big Horn and down. Nothing like reading comprehension.
