I used the ewk extraction for my 2022 2500 rear diff. I highly suggest getting the manual/pneumatic, $60 on amazon. I initially used the hand pump, but found getting off the ground to pump up again a pita. So I hooked up the extractor to my compressor and worked great. You do have to fish...
Just changed my rear diff w amsoil 75w-85w 2022 2500 6.7 LSD. I checked the fluid prior to drain and fill and it was over 1" low....there were no leaks. It is good advice to check fluid levels (front diff, transfer case) on any purchased Ram.
Thanks for the info, the Cummins link was helpful (Cetane levels etc....) Called cummins they told me to call Stellantis, they didnt know anything and told me to call dealership?? Dealership said to talk to Stellantis???? All gave me run around. Checked google and fuel websites again and...
Just noticed on a couple fuel pumps here in California an orange sticker that is NEW. "94% biomass-based diesel blend"....contains MORE than 20 percent biomassed-based diesel or biodiesel on Chevron fuel pump. The top sticker shows biodiesel between 5 and 20 percent...B20, and have been using...
Ditto on rough country wheel liners. Liners showed up on porch with zip ties attached not in a box...not a big deal. Installed the back, was not a 30 min install as advertised, was a rough install and the not all the pre drilled holes in the liner would not accept the push pins supplied, had...
Like others said, OEM is best. Friends have after market steps, and IMHO the oem is solid and tucks away nicely. Shop around online, you can get better prices for the step... Take note on the torque settings, one of the bolts is in "inches" not foot pounds. Was cranking on it and thought...
Went to Tuttle Click aa couple years back when I was shopping for my 2022 2500, spoke with a salesman in the showroom inquiring about the price and availability etc....., he told me they were NOT building anymore 6.7 2500's??? I laughed at him and told them RAM was still building the truck...
Kudos for you taking a vid of the racket, this will help down the line if further issues continues. I did the same thing multiple times with issues with my 67rfe and showed the service guy (constant issue after numerous repairs) and had a service guy ride in my truck to confirm the problem is...
I’ve learned my lesson re pics and vids. Coolant leaks, rfe 68 trans issues, check engine light, engine brake not working AND take vid of exterior of truck while in the service line. Dealership scratched and dented passenger door. They did make good by bodywork and paint
Had an issue under
Turbo Coolant return line-2022 Ram 2500 Cummins
After the replacing the block heater, coolant lines, etc..... it was a freeze plug! Glad it was under warranty. Coolant dripped down the side of the block, onto block heater plug, turbo lines etc..... giving the dealership...
I had a total of 3 torque converters, 2 valve bodies, and numerous seals replaced in my '22 2500 6.7 while under warranty. The service dept at dealership did not know how to repair the first time, second time, third time, fourth time, fifth time and a few more times. Seems the dealer called...
My 22 2500 6.7 68rfe trans was throwing codes, causing other issues, fortunately it was still under warranty, approx 24K miles. Repaired at dealership: 2 torque converters replaced for a total of 3 (including original) later, clutch packs, replaced trans valve body, and various seals over...
Ive owned a Ford 350 gasser and wasnt impressed with the towing/braking (IMHO) especially uphill/downhill pulling horse trailers. The diesel engine brake is a big bonus for hauling, both for safety and saving service brakes. I dont regret getting a diesel.
I like most guys do all my filter...
Got the recall yesterday, as OLEJOE stated I got the same story, inspect first then order as needed. I havent had repeated regens as others and am leary about having this done soon. More smog stuff is never a good thing for performance and mileage.
I live in Ca. and had to have my 22 2500...
Ditto on not finding T6 10w-30 anywhere in California. Shell website states available first quarter in 23 on Amazon....not. Checked all the auto parts store here and none even mention it as available. Since Shell states coming out in first quarter 23. will have to be patient. Used the T6...
Im going thru a similar rodeo with my Ram 2022 2500, 26K miles- maintained better than scheduled maintenance schedules, 3 times on a coolant leak ( different cause every time I took it in??), Torque converter failure, now valve body part is on order-probably didnt look at the clutches for any...
The saga continues, brought it home from the dealership, no check engine light and exhaust brake working in full, automatic and tested the haul/tow mode. Parked it and went out later, now check engine light and NO exhaust brake in any mode. Took video and pic of the drive if the dealership...
I own a 2022 2500 Cummins with a 68RFE trans. Had a check engine light come on and noted the exhaust brake was not working, took it to the dealership under warranty. Hoping it was just a flash update....wrong - 3 weeks later picked it up. On the work order stated: Torque conv. failure...
