I'm very close to purchasing a never 2022 with low miles. It had the tranny failure about a 1000 miles back and the dealer fixed it up according to the TSB , gave an extended warranty on it and in the last 1000 miles its been fine.

Is there any concern I should have purchasing it or do the vehicles that have it fixed actually stay fixed?

Seems like the kit is holding up well. I read there was some earlier failures with replacement transmissions, (they were bad too) but as long as the tech knows his **** you should be good to go.

I had a total of 3 torque converters, 2 valve bodies, and numerous seals replaced in my '22 2500 6.7 while under warranty. The service dept at dealership did not know how to repair the first time, second time, third time, fourth time, fifth time and a few more times. Seems the dealer called in a journeyman mechanic to finally fix. All this with only 20K miles on the new truck. I was ready to lemon law it; Working fine now. Ramcare did assist

Seems systemic these days. Skilled (diesel) mechanics are hard to find and not enough seemingly are joining the trade anymore.
