I know the reasoning It’s just hard to make sense of it.

What engine oil is everyone running in their 5th gen Cummins?
I know the recommended is 10w30 for warmer weather and 5w40 for cold.
I’ve been running 15w40 synthetic in every oil change other than what was shipped from factory. I’m at 94k miles, no issues and no sound from those hydraulic...
I haven’t received any messages about regens, just stating the fact I’ve noticed way more frequent regens and the DPF gauge filling quicker. I never said I had any alerts for regens.
I mentioned I don’t remember the exact verbiage now of the message. And it has not come back up.
My 2021 3500 HO is at 93K miles, got a notification to have dealer service the DPF system. Curious if others have had the same message and what it entailed?
The truck has been regening frequently and the DPF filter is getting dirty rather quickly.
May have my own diesel mechanic “service”...
I’m looking at leveling my 2021 ram 3500, not sure which route to go. I will be installing 35s, I do tow often. I’m looking at the Thuren, Carli, and cognito kits. They all seem very quality. Does anyone have any of these and use their truck for regular towing and have any insights?
I’m about to change my transmission fluid and filter for the first time at around 65k miles. I’ve seen a few things here and there about potentially causing more harm than good by going too long before doing the tranny service. I don’t think I’m at the point, but any insight? (3500 HO w/aisin)
