I'm going to say they'd be different. Yes, 'gain' is 'gain', but we must factor in the differences in how the T.V. interprets those numbers. Also, does the trailer have standard, self adjusting or hydraulic brakes? Are the brakes drum or disk?

I've use the Reese setup for 7 years without a problem. I do remove it once or twice a season to clean it all up. I keep a ball cover in the bed and slide it over the ball when not in use so I don't get grease on me when I'm doing something in the bed.

I never had a problem with height, but I did have a problem once with width. I was goin thru a touchless in my '14 and the and the arm smucked the passenger mirror and took out the blinker.
