Anyone have any advice on bio? In my area it is just regular #2. Headed on long trip and I see that alot of truckstops are b10 or b20. With fuel card I have it is pretty good price on major highways. Is it ok to run in my 2020?

I’ve worked in the HD diesel industry for the last 18 years and the engine manufacturers say it will ruin your exhaust aftertreatment. So I would not run it with a new truck. Unless you have deleted it. But then again the fuel systems these days are very sophisticated. You might ruin it too and it would be very expensive to repair. But anyway look in your owners manual it should tell you what you can run.

We ran a test at work with running bio fuel in the gas turbine engines that are the prime moving for a 600 foot destroyer. Looking at the engines after running for 2 days, they looked no different than when running DFM (Kersone). And they saw no difference in how the engines ran.
I also had a buddy who ran vegetable oil in his diesel and after a year, said when they scoped the cylinders, they were cleaner than when he started.
As for the DEF exhaust issue, I have no idea about that.

I've run bio at stations and truck stops when we travel without any problems in my '14. I'll be doing the same in the '21 in a few days. Don't know if this'll help or not.

Like people have said, check your manual. Ymmv. The 2021 Manual shows this text:

Replace the engine oil and oil filter every 12,500 miles (20,000 km) or 400 hours, whichever comes first when running greater than 5% levels of biodiesel.

Also…

This vehicle is fully compatible with biodiesel blends up to 5% biodiesel meeting ASTM specification D-975. Pickup models configured with optional B20 capability, are additionally compatible with 20% biodiesel meeting ASTM specification D-7467.

What does " configured with optional B20 Capability" mean? Is this an option you have to order and not all Rams are capable of using Bio?

I think it’s an option for fleet orders only.
