Ride Quality + Reliability for a 2500 with factory Auto Level/Air Suspension?

First time I noticed was on a 22 crew cab on coils with a 40’ gooseneck and multiple SxS’s loaded on it.

I can vouch you get the same instability on the coils, it feels like it’s wagging.

Ride Quality + Reliability for a 2500 with factory Auto Level/Air Suspension?

I’ve been on factory air suspension 2500 since 2018. I love it. Especially now because it has not only trailer height button but bed lowering mode which makes the bed height go way down when getting in and out of it. I also don’t like any sag when towing which the air ride keeps perfect loaded...

What did you do TO your RAM today?

Truck is dirty but whatever. Truck is a 2022 so I needed to do some things as well as did some extras. On my way to the shop who does the work, my check engine light came on, ended up needing a new air filter. Then found a screw in the tire so had to get that fixed too. Had the oil and oil...

    Advice on quiet tires

I was never able to get rid of that shimmy you describe when I had KO2’s, which is why I haven’t went back. But they are definitely a quiet tire.

    Advice on quiet tires

I’m happy you were able to find a tire op, I was late to this thread. But for your situation and application I would have suggested Michelin Defender LTX. I’ve had two sets, my last set was on my 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins. The only other tire I’d have said was put another set of stock tires on. What...

Milestar tires ignoring me. Time to go nuclear?

In your other thread, you mentioned you ordered the tires yourself. Where did you buy them from?

Anybody regret going with 37s over 35s?

I understand what you are saying there. All I am saying is the entire drivetrain including ratio’s was designed with the intention of a 285/60r20 on the wheels. Not a 37x12.50. Which will wear parts out eventually, how long that lasts depends on many factors and is completely subjective to case...

Anybody regret going with 37s over 35s?

We hope the ZF ends up being better, but it hasn’t been out long. Regardless of transmission though, if the gearing isn’t changed for the different sized tires there is more leverage and a lot of it placed on the transmission.

    Dauntless 392 - Project

Sorry for the confusion. HP Tuners is who provides the software to tune your vehicle, then you go to a company say like Black Bear Performance or whoever used Hp Tuners to tune the modifications done to the vehicle on a dyno or by data logging. But it sounds like you are doing that yourself...

That size tire looks great on it.

Why is tire noise a thing?

I also think tire technology over time has come a long way and we have become spoiled in getting a tire that performs well off road but also has nice road manners. So whenever a tire doesn’t have great road manners we notice it much more now.
