I understand what you are saying there. All I am saying is the entire drivetrain including ratio’s was designed with the intention of a 285/60r20 on the wheels. Not a 37x12.50. Which will wear parts out eventually, how long that lasts depends on many factors and is completely subjective to case...
We hope the ZF ends up being better, but it hasn’t been out long. Regardless of transmission though, if the gearing isn’t changed for the different sized tires there is more leverage and a lot of it placed on the transmission.
Sorry for the confusion. HP Tuners is who provides the software to tune your vehicle, then you go to a company say like Black Bear Performance or whoever used Hp Tuners to tune the modifications done to the vehicle on a dyno or by data logging. But it sounds like you are doing that yourself...
I also think tire technology over time has come a long way and we have become spoiled in getting a tire that performs well off road but also has nice road manners. So whenever a tire doesn’t have great road manners we notice it much more now.
You can see my post above. But my transmission was slipping after 37’s and I was running 4.56 gears. But maybe it was cause I had a delete and tune so I had more than stock power idk.
I had a 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins. I deleted and tuned that truck. I had Thuren 2.75” coils in front with 2” bag spacers in rear and 2.5 fox shocks. I then put 4.56 gears in it. Had 18x9 with 37x13.50 Toyo RT. It ran well, it rode well. I really enjoyed the setup. It was a big truck for sure though...
I’m ok with anything you guys would like to say other than personal attacks if it gets there.
I have been misunderstood in my wording, I said things incorrectly for sure and I may have misunderstood some of you, I don’t know. I am just saying that short trips, idling, stop and go use, no...
I won’t be reading your entire post, but I did briefly go through it. I did state facts and data as well as personal experience and the experience of many around me in my area which differs from your opinion. Which is what is great, we can all have our own opinion and agree to disagree which is...
For sure, and hopefully I didn’t irritate you. I was just speaking from my personal experience and those all around my area. Sorry you are having issues, I hope you can get it fixed. Oddly enough mine is a 2022 as well.
The OEM would be silly, legally to not put a get out of jail free clause in there. All OEM’s do that.
There is a small collection of evidence actually. That thread you mentioned has 102 people on it with issues. You realize from 2019-2025 ram produced like 3 million trucks. Even if it were 10%...
No I’m not saying all those people are lying. But I am saying the amount of people in there with issues are so low compared to the amount of Cummins with emission equipped trucks on the road that it is a fairly moot point based off sheer numbers.
Are you saying I’m lying in my experience and...
