My grandpa told me a saying a long time ago about buying vehicles. He said, “when you buy a vehicle and you feel like you got screwed, you probably got screwed. When you buy a vehicle and you feel like you got a deal, you still got screwed.”
He is right lol. So hey if you feel you end up with a...
In all honesty it doesn’t matter if it’s gas or diesel. It’s a vehicle and if it’s just for personal use you are going to lose money period. Very rare occasions is it anything otherwise, and yes we can all say well this one time I…
Similar to what jebruns said. “Bulletproofing” hasn’t been a thing or been needed for decades. I also don’t agree with the part about daily driving them. I’ve been daily driving my last 3 diesel trucks the last 10 years without issue. I do minimum six times a day an 8 minute drive to work and...
I have a 2022 Cummins mega I bought new to replace my 2018 Cummins mega that replaced my 2017 duramax. All loaded trucks. I have been fortunate to not have major issues. But, I understand why your buddy didn’t have the in his fleet. My business we stick to gas trucks for the same reasons your...
I had KO2’s on a 1/2 ton ram and gmc and they were fantastic. Had them on my diesel 2500 mega and they were bouncy and shook and never could get them perfect. Has me so hesitant to buy a set of ko3’s.
Oh my bad, I was only talking about badge emblems with the real thick double side sticky tape behind it. I haven’t had to remove those off-road stickers. Was there just regular sticker glue residue behind those?
It’s much easier to use a 3m eraser wheel in a cordless drill to remove the double side tape after emblem removal. I used goo gone for years until the 3m wheel. Never going back haha.
Just buy paint matched letters and replace the chrome ones. It makes them much more clean looking. I assume there are mounting holes under them but I’m not completely for sure. The simple ram horn emblem on mine in the center has three holes behind it and double sided taped.
Like you I used to be a 100% debadge guy, on any color though. Now I prefer some debadge, then the other badges get color paint matched. I did it on my current pearl white 2022 limited 2500.
Could be or could be something else. My wife’s Grand Wagoneer just had the drivers heated seat stop working, it started out just hit or miss not working to then fully not working and the button actually wasn’t even available to push on the touch screen. Ended up being the heating element went...
No they wouldn’t unless they cut their studs down, it simply won’t work due to stud length. You have to run a minimum of about 1-3/4” spacer and have windows on the mounting surface of the wheels for the studs to protrude into.
