Fixed it.
I saw the project farm about diesel fuel additives but can't seem to find one on additives for Def fluid. It's possible I missed it. If anyone can look and see when it was posted please post.
Anyone have any expirence using this stuff? Both made by Rislone. Couple diesel podcasts have talked about it. I haven't seen any treatment that you add to the def tank.
Anyone have any links to purchase red/yellow bed marker lights? I have 22 mega DRW. Mopar has some but $40+ seems pricey for one. Would prefer a set. Red rear passenger side went out. Thank you for any leads in advance.
2022 DRW 3500 limited megacab
9823 miles. Originally purchased to haul campers but a death in the family changed those plans. My wife loved the truck so I can't part with my garage queen now. But I do absolutely love the truck.
I use mine pretty much the same.
Originally ordered 2022 DRW Limited Megacab for towing. Family issues changed my plans. I've only got just over 5k on it.
I absolutely love it and have no plans to change it. I love the ride, the power, and the tech. I have done several trips with it...
I use mine to charge ecoflow battery. Takes about 5 hours but cold nights the ecoflow runs heated blanket. Having the 400 watt outlet is very useful. Currently doing a trip around the country.
After reading this thread and others I refused to allow them to do the sensor recall. It's run fine without it so I'm not going to risk it.
I've got a sick family member and that takes most of my attention. I already know how I would react if this recall screwed something up.
OH I'm not eager to have it done at all. I had a free oil change at the dealership and had the grid heater recall.
If i had the know how I would delete the whole system. I drive trucks for a living and Def causes nothing but problems.
Took mine in to get recalls done. Dealer says they will order the dpf sensor but not to expect parts until after strike due to warehouse being shut down.
No clue if he is pulling my chain or not. Guess I haven't noticed it missing so oh well.
I'm also curious what the issues could be if this isn't completed. I'm not asking if they will continue to send notice but what mechanical or system issues could arise long term.
I've had it happen in freightliner like that. Going down the highway it looked like I was fogging for mosquitos. Lasted for about 20 miles. Shop guys advised it was a strong buildup of def in the filter.
Never in my 2022 Ram.
