i think you are correct.... i just need the part number of the bumper connector fitting and i should be good to go.......... assuming it will accept the small cable on the other side :)

i think you solved my issue. i had to have the rear bumber replaced. my guess is that the correct fitting was install as oem. i think it the connector as such did not get re installed. my guess is that if i buy a replacement bumper connector the small cable on the truck will plug right in...
