    Height and Parking Garages

I scraped and damaged my shark fin when entering a parking garage due to the downward slope at the entrance. That angle was just enough to cause the problem even though there were a couple inches, supposedly, to spare.

The 'kill switch' passes the house.

Or one swerves to miss a pedestrian, or slides on ice, or the injectors start clogging, or a flat tire causes brief erratic behavior, or 1,000 other 'or's. Keep the damn government outa my rig period! If one thinks every car should be monitored and disabled by some software that doesn't give a...

The 'kill switch' passes the house.

This topic was discussed several years ago when the idea was floated that monitoring and acting upon drunken erratic behavior was to be built into cars manufactured beginning 2026. It was both mocked and reasoned back then and soon forgot about. Well, the beast raised it's ugly head again and...

Is the oval exhaust on the 2026 Laramie Diesel new? Can’t find an exhaust tip.

Now that's a goof that I'd make! Reminds me of the time when I thought I was a gyppo logger. At the end of the day I scaled the logs like they were square instead of round and I made no money. Ha ha. Talk about feeling like at idiot at the mill.

How wrecked are your local dealers service departments?

I've used Rairdon CDJR of Kirkland WA for all my issues, the main one being a failed transmission at 26k miles. Other than pipeline delays, the service dept has always been quick and great in my experience. I have nothing but good experiences with them.

    New 2025 3500 Bricked after 357 miles

Still would like to know what codes were/are being thrown. With all the angst going on concerning this truck, it would be nice to know what the ACTUAL problem is, which may help others in a similar bind.

    Advice on quiet tires

I just called Les Schwab in North Bend and they will take them back for a 10% restocking fee. Absolutely amazing! Thank you for the advice!

    Advice on quiet tires

I'll certainly give that a try! I really like Wenatchee. My wife is from Mansfield and we visit there several times a year. Real quiet!

[SOLD] Brand new (less than 500 miles) Open Range AT Plus tires for sale

**No LONGER AVAILABLE** These Open Range A/T tires (LT275/70R-18) are virtually brand new with less than 500 miles on them. They are excellent AT tires and I would keep them except my old ears have become quite sensitive to road noise. I swapped them out for HT (highway) tires. See the...

    Advice on quiet tires

I just changed out the factory-installed tires with Open Range A/T Plus tires from Les Schwab. LT275/70R18 size. The factory tires, Firestone Transforce, were very quiet and I was hoping for at least the same quietness with these new tires. I live in the Pacific NW with mainly rainy winter...
