I went with Banks on the '25 as CTS3 wouldn't work correctly. It wouldn't allow my truck to go to sleep. Others have found since then that you have to turn off the CTS3 before shutting off the truck. I have the CTS3 in my Ford amd Banks in the Ram. I like the way I can have actual gauge looking...
I agree with you. I rewired a trailer with new everything(plug, wire, junction box, and taillights). Grounded at junction box and each light. Still couldn't get running lights to work. Replaced the all in one submersible led taillights with the ones that have a rubber grommet and push in and...
I had a utility trailer with submersible lights and my 2025 wouldn't recognize the running lights. Brake and turn signals were fine and lights were ok until you turned on the truck. After that, the running lights would flash slowly and the light check would reset about half way through.
When I was looking at Fitcam, I did the online chat with them and they were very helpful. They wanted pictures of the mirror assembly and also of the plugs behind the plastic trim. Just FYI before you contact them if that's what you decide on.
Not sure how the strobe is wired but here is how I wired some lights similar to that.
Aux 5 to power for the lights. I then used one of the pass thru wires and wired that to the pattern change wire of the lights. Ran that pass through wire to a momentary switch and the other wire of the switch...

My thoughts are maybe the...

2025 Ram 3500 Lone Star
I have an issue when hooked to 1 particular trailer. Every other trailer I have tried, lights work as should.
Background...Horses damaged lighting wires so I decided to rewire entire trailer. Brand new wiring for entire trailer. Brand new...
It sucked. Hard to get any type of ratchet in there. Wouldn't be bad except they put a huge connector exactly where you need the ratchet. Also your arm needs to bend backwards to get to the drains on the fuel filters. The engineer that designed that must've lost his significant other to a...
I can second both of those. I did the mods on my 2025 3500 Lonestar when I put on the seat covers. Super easy. And also love having extra storage versus subwoofer.
9kish. Only issues are the speed sensor intermittent causing multiple safety systems to be disabled. Some towing...made a 650 mile trip woth the cow trailer. Was 28400 for half the trip. Averaged 10.37 mpg for entire trip.
