I have a 2023 Ram 2500 Laramie crew cab that I want to have the rear seats (60/40) fold down. I see a lot of videos on You Tube, but Many have to do with the 1500. Is it the same procedure by cutting off a section of the hook on the back of seat? Also, will the sound system still work if I remove the sub-woofer from under the rear seat? I am just trying to find more storage space.

Yes it is the procedure on 1500 classics as the HD Rams.
Also, yes the sound system works with the subwoofer removed (I did it but the wife didn’t like the sound).

I can second both of those. I did the mods on my 2025 3500 Lonestar when I put on the seat covers. Super easy. And also love having extra storage versus subwoofer.
