Did the dealer inspect the truck? I had an attaching screw come out and the sensor dislocated. All the lights you describe. I found the screw missing and stopped by NAPA and installed a new one in their parking lot. Never a problem since.
Also take a look inside the cavities where the trailer connects. Maybe something obvious in there. Like someone shoved some tinfoil in there as a prank etc.
Try enabling Recirculation mode, while the AC is on, and then disable recirculation. It's a hack I discovered on my 21 and it does work on my 24. But it seems these systems have a mind of their own. Like the engineers think they know what we should have VS what we really want.
NOTE: I did...
I guess I did not make that clear. I had them register my truck as operating unladen. So they needed a base weight for the registration purposes. Honestly I am not sure how much this saves or if it is even worth the hassle. If you just do the standard registration I doubt you will have to weigh...
If I recall correctly, they did all the paperwork. I did have to do a smog check and get a VIN verification and I also had to certify weigh the truck. Then I overnighted all the papers to them. I asked them to register it uladen since I never put weight in it. I only Tow. So, you may not have to...
I'd get the Dually. You can order a 26 right now. I had a post up wondering if I should go Dually or not and I am at 11,500 Tag Trailer. I will NEVER go back to a SRW unless I literally have to. As long as I have room it's a Dually for me. As far as Driving it, I can hardly think of any...
FYI, ANY Dodge Dealer can look up that part and search ALL other Dealer inventory. They can even recall the part to warehouse inventory if the stocking dealer allows it then sell it to you. Or they can contact the stocking Dealer on your behalf to secure the part or they can give you the...
I don't think it was a recall per se. I was in California and was mailed a notice and it said it was mandatory and you could not renew the registration without it.
If you are hearing it kick in at idle with the truck warmed up in warmer temps then the truck is doing a regen. It will regen just driving around town now. My older Truck started doing it after I had to take it in for a reflash. It was a required reflash due to emissions and changed the regen...
Honestly I never look at those things. I first want good mileage and second I want to be ready for anything. Tires can take 80 so that's what I usually run. ALSO, the truck rides just fine. I am not compelled to lower the PSI so I am more comfortable.
That being said I am likely going to lower...
OK, I guess the front U-Joint being offset was a coincidence. The dealer has had the truck off and on for the last 6 weeks and had the best Tech working on it. He and I have collaborated on this many times sharing ideas and he was communicating with several people on a STAR case and so on. He...
One of the BEST things about the Cummins is the 15,000 mile service interval. 15/30/45/60/75/90................I find this very slightly more complicated. I do 15,000 from day one unless I am going to be on a trip that will take me, like, 1000 miles over. Or just have a dealer do it on your...
