Price negotiated from MSRP

I would expect to get a deal on a '24 since its already a model year old and not the most updated Ram....its not the like dealership is doing you the favor, they are the ones holding on to old stock
What ever the case may be, you just cannot argue with a good deal.

Fellas, need some help. I'm looking at a 2025 2500 tradesman+Clearance lamps+floormats, barebone. Best I got was out of Kentucky $48xxx out the door. Everywhere else theyr'e asking 51k, 54k? What's going on? Need help if anyone has a better dealer. What's the invoice on these?

Just got a new '24 Bighorn 4x4 NE, halfway through 2025, so got some discounts. MSRP: $83k, paid $62k
Walked out of the first dealer that had a less equipped truck for about the same price. They tried to add some ridiculous charges that they said they could not remove. Total scam!! Ended up getting a better truck a day later at a much better dealer!

Looks like someone checked every box when ordering that truck, nice find.

Any good dealers in the southwest for ordering? I see Tuttle Click mentioned in Irvine, CA, curious if there are any other suggestions? Thanks!

Picked up this Ram 3500 today at Mark Dodge sold to me by Anthony Boi. $16,750 off MSRP. They charge $425 for a Doc fee and that is it (besides California Tax and License). In my case I wanted a specific set of Options and Mark Dodge was in fact one of only a very few Dealers that had a Truck I would buy. DONE! I drove 1700 miles and traded in my 21 Ram 3500, which they gave me $40K in trade. Trade value was within KBB trade in range so it was fair. ZERO issues when I got there. Truck was 100% ready and I switched all my belongings into the new truck and was gone in 45 minutes.

I know this an old post but I see that Mark Dodge collected California Tax and License, did they also start the registration process for you are did you have to do that directly with the DMV. I am looking to order a 3500 and just wondering what the process was given the stupidity we have to deal with in the state of California. Thanks!

If I recall correctly, they did all the paperwork. I did have to do a smog check and get a VIN verification and I also had to certify weigh the truck. Then I overnighted all the papers to them. I asked them to register it uladen since I never put weight in it. I only Tow. So, you may not have to weigh your Truck. NOTE: I did not expect to have to weigh the truck. I thought they would use the shipping weight or do a calculation using the door sticker or something. So, I had already installed my Bed cover, bed mat and put all my junk in the truck and filled it with Fuel. I did not want to remove everything so my registered unladen weight is a true drive around weight. #9360 image000002 (4).jpg

Thanks for the info! Interesting, maybe the weighing was cause it's a dually? With this state you never know!

Just talked to Charles at MD, they sure make the process easy.

I guess I did not make that clear. I had them register my truck as operating unladen. So they needed a base weight for the registration purposes. Honestly I am not sure how much this saves or if it is even worth the hassle. If you just do the standard registration I doubt you will have to weigh your Truck. Maybe I am wrong.

Ahh ok, thanks for the clarification.

I live in CA and purchased my truck in NV. The dealership did all the paperwork and collected the fees/taxes. All I had to do was a VIN verification at the CA DMV and my stickers arrived in the mail shortly thereafter. I have a 3500 and my annual reg renewal here in the once-great, unaffordable, progressive liberal democrat hellhole of Commiefornia is $975 for a truck that won't even drive 4k a year on CA roads. This state SUCKS. It doesn't have to, and it didn't used to, but thanks to the you-know-whos, it sure does now.

Agree 100%. Appreciate the purchase info.

In Colorado you pay more for registration by weight. Had to think about that for 0.0000002 seconds during the purchase of our 2024 3500 4x4 Crew Cab Cummins SRW LB.

Some politician crashed her bike while avoiding a "very large dually truck". Wants to raise the registration fees on the big vehicles even more to feel safe after her brain injury.

I told them I was going to deal with my AZ taxes and title and registration when I got back to Arizona. By the time I had driven 2 days back to Arizona from Louisiana with their temporary Louisiana plate, FedEx had delivered bill of sale and MSO/MCO from Mark Dodge.

Only took me 20 minutes at DMV the next morning and a big check. But I did not finance. I paid cash the dealership in Louisiana so maybe they were a little more flexible with me

Thanks for the info. From what I was told when I placed my order, they have local agents in CA to deal with the DMV side of things which works for me, the less I have to deal with the DMV the better! :)

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had seen diferent FWP prices for items on the invoice at different dealers?
Im asking because im shopping for a New 2500 and got a few quotes from different dealers all different states...2 have been the same prices listed in the msrp and fwp columns but one dealer in NV seems to have higher prices including higher destination fee which I thought was flat across all locations.

In the price comparisons I’ve done in the past the numbers were the same. Surely a car dealer wouldn’t underhandedly up the numbers, would they?
