I believe it was around $1200 for everything minus the tank and a few wiring things a few years ago. That included the compressor, mounting bracket, bolts, pulleys, longer belt, discharge hose, intake hose.
I saw someone did that and had the shifter accessible from the left pocket on the side of the full console. I can't remember where I saw that, but I think it required some fab work. Hopefully someone can chime in with the source.
Here it is, however it appears to be a 4th Gen...
My guess is it's referring to the storage under the back seat. Mine only has the driver's side under seat storage available, as the passenger side is occupied by the sub.
Then again, I may be completely wrong...
Not sure, but I wouldn't expect that failure to cause the engine to lock up with no warning. I would expect that to trip some codes, possibly kill a cylinder, and have a poor running engine, but not lock up the engine.
About 450 miles ago the night before. It was 1/4" below the top of the safe zone.
I was told the tech also checked the oil and it appeared fine.
Brutal, I didn't realize it was that easy but it's good to know for the future. The truck did allow itself to be shifted out of park when the tow...
Here's a good one. I have a 2022 Ram 3500 with the diesel and recently had a very unwelcome experience at just under 31k miles. I had the engine shutdown while driving and the truck came to a sudden stop, as though someone stepped on the brakes.
I had been on the interstate driving around...
Might be a little late, but I mounted an air quick connection on the trailer hitch with a small piece of angle iron. I haven't had any issues with salt, grime, etc getting in it since I'm started covering it when not in use.
@g00fy I've seen those too. They actually initiate an Apple Car play connection to Uconnect, then play Android Auto in that wrapper. Since Uconnect 5 supports full screen Car play, you get an emulated full screen Android Auto experience, mostly.
I'm not sure how secure these devices are, as...
It would be real nice if Ram would support full screen Android Auto on their flagship trucks with the 12" screen. I'm my experience Android Auto hides many of the shortcomings and bugs in Uconnect. I mean after all, they do have plenty of time to introduce useless features like games and...
The monthly cost is extremely high for the functionality you get, only lock/unlock and remote start. It's so bad, Ram doesn't even allow you to adjust the HVAC settings or vented/heated seats. Other brands, such as Subaru, allow you to do all of this for 3 years for less than 1 year cost of...
