Anyone try putting a wide track front axle and front fenders on a 3500 dually pickup. Would love to have that turning radius

Can’t say that I’ve seen or heard anyone mention it. You talking like a 5500 front axle? Fill us in on the details...

Here in Ontario the insurance and license is expensive for a 5500 gvwr which is how we have to license a 5500. I would like the manoeuvrability of a 5500 in a 3500 dually pickup I wish Ram would build a equivalent to a F450

I believe the 4500-5500's are still using the 4 link short arm suspension like what is found on the '12 and older trucks, that would be the main hurdle in swapping axles

I thought they changed that when they went to the CAD axle in 19?

I'm blown away that they are still using early 4th gen suspension on the 4500+ trucks. Keep wondering where that Ram 4500 pickup is, but guess it's stuck back in 2010.
