Can I get a measurement from a White Knuckle Slider owner please. Looking for the distance from the cab (door open) to the center of the outer most tube. Short story, removed the OEM 75th sliders because they are so narrow (2.5”). Added some steps (4.25”) to hold me over and now getting around to ordering the WK sliders and just want to know if I need the top plate or not. My wife is clumsy and wears heals so I think I need the top plate.

Call them and ask to order with the “wide” main rail. It was like $75 and They switch from 2”x3” to 2”x4”, so they stick out an extra inch.

I’ll measure mine(with the wide main rail) later this afternoon for you.

It does sound like the top plates would be a good choice for you if high-heels are a common occurance.

Also they had a Black Friday sale when I bought mine in 2019, so maybe consider waiting a couple weeks.

I didn’t know they offered a wide version. Thanks for that bit of info and thanks for getting me that measurement later.

Also I’m not sure how grippy the Diamond plate is, but just the tubes were ultra slick when wet, so I added all the grip tape shown.

I was actually thinking of a LineX or Rhino type bed lining to help with traction. The bottom will get scratched but I can touch that up.

Thanks for the info on the wider option. I was already thinking about calling them to see if they could just make me a set that is the same width as the rear bump out all the way down.

Didn’t have a square, but I’d call it between 2.5” to 2.75”View attachment 24568

Are these the wider 2x4 option? I ordered some last week and opted for the wider option, with the rear diamond plate and Carli Drop Bracket option.....I will also get some grip tape or a can of bed liner and put some grip on them....Thanks for the post.

Thanks for the recommendations El Barto, we waited for the Black Friday discount and picked up two sets with the 2x4 rails. Another tip, if you are ordering and know someone with a warehouse / loading dock the freight is less than shipping to a residential address.

Were you able to get the sliders?
I ordered a set of sliders back in mid-October and still waiting for them

No, just ordered them on Black Friday. They quoted me 8 weeks to build them and shipping to me is probably a week (Florida)

Have you installed your wide sliders with top plates yet? I'm thinking of going this direction in the next couple of days and would love to see a photo of that setup.

Thanks, that does help. I've ordered the wide version with full top plate. I like how your sliders pretty much come out even with your tires. What offset and backspacing are you running on your setup.

They are the Method 704s from CJC... I think 17x9 wheel with a +18 Offset....You can call CJC to find out.
