Wheel & Tire Questions For My Application

Hi All,

I am eagerly awaiting my 22 2500 Limited which was just built and will hopefully be here in the next month or so. I have started ordering parts since everything is tough to get right now and wheels and tires are next. I have decided I want to order 20" Fuel Siege wheels and I have a few questions. For suspension I ordered the Thuren 1" Front Lift and 1/2" LOWERING for the rear (coils).

1. They offer the Siege in 20x9 +20 which I believe will sit similar to factory(?) and 20x9 +01 which are for sure more aggressive. Will the +01's even fit since I'm not really lifting it or should I stick with the +20 for no rubbing?
2. For tires it seems the general consensus is that the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT is the quietest and smoothest riding tires out there, which is very important to me. The two sizes that would seem to work are 285/65/20 and 295/60/20. I am leaning toward the 285/65/20 for the slightly taller tire, but again I do not want any rubbing. Any opinions?

Thanks all,
Evan

+ 20 will be the Best. I have a Slight Rub on the Sway Bar with 285-65-20 and Stock Wheel. Getting ready to install 2" Thuren Coils and Sway Bar. That will take care of any Rub.

The 285/65/20 should fit stock wheels with no rubbing. The +20 will be darn near flush to the fender flares and the +1 will poke just a bit. I read every thread I could find here on the subject but I have no experience on this subject. But I went with a 20x9 +18 and going to pair with 35x12.5x20. Seems that this combo should not rub and since the other options are narrower, those should not either. But I'm sure others who have actual experience on this subject will chime in.

Thanks guys, ordered the +20 and 285/35/20 Coopers. I'm looking for a no hassle comfortable setup so I'm going to play it safe on this one.

I hope 265/35/20 is a typo unless you're talking about a car. Those are 27.3x10.4 tires.

Nice! I thought long and hard about that size vs the 35s. Ultimately I wanted to join the cool crowd. Ha ha. I have the 285/65/20s on my current 1500 and like them. Who knows, I could hate the 35s and go back to that size.
