Warped Window Trim

2019 2500 Laramie - Only had the truck a year and half and window molding on all four side windows is warped, allowing water to get in between door and window, and looking about to fall off.

Anyone else have this issue and/or have any luck getting it fixed?

Took it to the dealer and they indicated they needed approval from warranty to make the repair (after I waited four hours while they at first said they were fixing it). Still waiting weeks for a return call. Seems like a flaw that should get fixed no questions or hassle - but that's not what's happening..

Texas and only had the truck 5 months. It's a 2019 though. I would like to take in for warranty as well. How does that 3 year 36000 warranty work? Is the 3 year from the purchase date im assuming? I bought truck used.

The 2019 1500 my son just bought had that issue on both front doors. We live in AZ, made the dealer replace them when we bought it.

I think it’s covered under the 3 year 36,000 warranty. Call the dealer and they should be able to let you know.
I think the window seal is fairly inexpensive and an easy install if it’s not covered

Ram Social Care Specialist - are you available to assist?.

Thanks for replies all - sounds like a dealer warranty item for sure based upon responses above and from a few other similar posts. It's very challenging working with the local dealer - is there a "Ram Social Care Specialist" that can help? Thanks

2021 Ram 2500. Have had the truck just over a year and had to get it replaced on both front doors. However, my dealership didn't give me the runaround, just had to wait a couple days since they were busy.

I live in Arizona. My 2014 did this, my wife's Durango is a 2006 model, she still owns it and you should see how warped her is.
My 2022 is already starting to do it. I got it a week ago .. and it never sat at a dealer lot. It came off a truck and into my driveway.
Last truck, 2018, when I took it in for a recall, they replaced all 4 free.

Looking to fix the same issue on my 2019 2500. There are several posts suggesting that they replaced the trim, however no mention if this actually fixed the warp problem. Do the replacement trim pieces not warp? I don't want to pay to replace it if the new one warps as well. Thanks for any feedback on this annoying issue.
