a rock crawlin’ dude
Good evening
I recently came across an issue that I was determined to find a solution to.
I have a new shiny enclosed trailer that I like to pull around in the dirt and rocks. That’s all good until I drop the door down onto the rocks and drive over it.
In short notice I put some gouges and dings in my pretty trailer door with just a few loads/unloads. I knew it was time to think of something
I thought about black aluminum tread plate like the V nose of the trailer is, but that will just get scratches and I’ll need to drill holes. If only I could get more of the rubber tread plate flooring that is inside the trailer.
Enter this stuff. Made to stick to boats and steps and stuff, thick durable rubber tread plate. Lightbulb.
Here is how it turned out. I think it will do the trick protecting the top edge of my trailer door.
I made a video and uploaded it to my sh!tbox of a YouTube channel. I’m way too ADHD to form complete sentences without saying UM as often as Obama did but here is the link
