Trailer profile and trip

I'm having difficulty with uconnect 5 and trailer profiles. I hooked up to my equipment trailer, went to vehicle -> trailer, setv the name of the trailer and selected to use this trailer.
On the trailer trip it didn't register any miles while driving it.

I didn't have this issue on uconnect 4.

Otherwise, uconnect 5 is so dramatically improved, I'm very pleased with it.

Ok, just to make sure you have trailer brakes ? and the trailer brakes are working ? if not the system will not record the miles. I have 2 trailers 1 with no brakes and the other with surge brakes and my 2022 will not record miles on either of them because it does not have powered brakes for it to read the 12v signal. just something to check.
