So when upgrading from stock 33's to 35's, what is everyone doing for the spare tire? Keeping the OEM one in place or is everyone buying 5 tires. Coming from a bunch of lifted jeeps that's all I ever did.

Buy 5 tires unless you don't mind potentially changing 2 tires if you get a flat. i have a 35" Cooper STT Pro under my truck, snug but no issues.

I buy 5 tires.

Falken 285/65R20 just squeaks into the spare location. Mfr claims 34.6"

RAM uses the same 18" spare steel wheel on all trucks so it may be different than the 4 wheels you have.

this gets discussed over and over and many people say you can not get a 35" tire up there but many people say you can...I have done it on two 2020 2500's a nitto ridge grappler and a Toyo RT which are on the larger size of most 35's. Some 35's run smaller ie bfg and coopers.

I installed a 35 on the factory rim of my 2014 2500 and it fit but required some persuasion. On my 2020 3500 I used a 285/75R18 on the stock rim and it fit a lot better and doesn't hang near as low. I just go on ebay and look for a used tire in the size I want. I'm not spending $300 for a tire that will never get used.
