I will be taking delivery on my ‘21 2500 6.4L next week. It’s a Laramie with the night edition, so stock black 20” wheels. I plan to replace the stock Firestones. Looking at either the Nitto Ridge Grapplers or the Toyo AT3’s. Debating keeping the stock 285/60r20’s or going slightly taller with either the 275/65r20 or the 285/65r20. I can’t seem to find many pictures comparing these sizes on the newer 2500’s. Any experiences and especially pictures of your rigs with these sizes would be awesome. If I’ve missed a good thread in my search feel to direct me.

I'm kind of in the same boat right now. Need to get the stock Transforce tires off after a couple incidents with them of-grid camping a few weeks ago. Want to go 285/65R20's but there's very few tires in that size and none in the tire i really want. Don't want 295/65R20 which have ton of options. Looked at the 275/65R20 and while they are slightly larger they are also a bit narrower too.

Gorgeous truck there Ocxd! How is your mileage with the 295’s? I have run 285 on my diesel for years but feeling like I may want something with slightly less rolling resistance with the new gasser.

Newer 2500? Newer than what year? Except for the hood and tailgate, the HD's have had no body changes from behind the headlights to the taillights since 2010. If you see something you like on a 2010+ Ram 2500/3500 you like, go with it. Better yet, why be like everyone else? Do your own thing.

Ok guys - still looking for some pics of a similarly configured truck, but have made my decision. Going with the Toyo AT3’s in 275/65/20. I’m going to buy them from Discount tire because they are close and have always treated me right. Curious if anyone has found a better price online to leverage Discounts price match guarantee?

I took delivery yesterday and had new AT3 in 35x11.5 installed today. Like the OP, I wanted a better tire that was taller while keeping the stock rims. This did that and is 1/4” narrower so no risk of rubbing. And for $50, I got black lug nuts to match.

I had originally planned to go 295/65/20, but those are on national backorder according to my Discount Tire rep.

Thank you... 1651Naismith! I hadn’t seen that this size was an option... kept looking for a 285/65r20 which is the same as what you got just listed differently. I ordered the same size as yours, 35x11.50r20, which are also on national backorder but my Discount tire rep found some in Connecticut... now I just have to wait for them to make it to Idaho. I’ll post pics once they get here.

Cool. According to my Discount Tire rep, the 35x11.5 is a "new" size. Not sure exactly what that means, but glad it worked out for both of us. LOL.

Don't forget the black lug nuts - makes a big difference with the black rims and night edition. Check with your DT rep. I was bitching about the chrome lugs as I was checking in to get the tires installed and he pulled out a box of black ones. Couldn't turn that down.

FWIW, mine were at a distribution center in Virginia when I ordered on Monday morning. They showed up Thursday morning in Colorado. Hopefully, yours follow a similar timeline.

Well she still only has about 150 miles on her but so far about 12.8. The 40 miles I did before the swap was 13.8. But I’ve been driving with more of a lead foot now that I’m getting used to the truck. This is all around town.

I currently have an f150, upgrading to 2500 soon though.

I just recently put some Yoko Geolandar AT G015 tires on and like them a lot. Very quiet on the road and ride really nice. Not sure how aggressive of a tire you need, but these have suited my needs.
