The mud flaps are bolted on so I don’t think you would want to take them on/off. They’re a PITA to put on unless you take tires off or have a right angle screwdriver.
Thx! Nnow how much PSI are ya running front and back? Are still happy with the 325/65/18 tire vs the 35/12.50/18? Thx!!

I'm running 45 PSI front and rear. I love the tires. This is my second set. Had them on my last Ram. Was wanting to have a full-size spare but this size in the Coopers are unavailable. I was told that they aren't making them right now and don't know when they will be making them anytime soon. Once I get a few more miles on these I'm going to a 37/12.5/R18.

Thank you! what Thuren coils are you running up front? The 2.7" and are you also running the 1" rear soft coils? I am curious how the 37/12.50s are going to fit with your set up which seems to be very similar to what I have. Thx again for your time!!!

I have the Thuren Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir 2" Front Kit, Rear Coil Kit stock height mid-rate. 37's will fit but I will loose my mud flaps. I might have to use a heat gun to inside front fender wells to keep from rubbing. Won't know until I get 37's installed.

Hello, I am wondering if anyone else has a similar set up as I am now looking at wheels and tires for the Rammer. I have the full Theren King kit with 2.75" front and 1" rear coils, front and rear track bars, front sway bar, rear sway bar drop links and the 2.5 ressi Kings with stage 2 tuning.

The truck sits just about perfectly level, maybe 1/5 taller i the rear. I'm currently leaning toward going with a set of 18x9 +18 off set wheels and 35/12.50/18 tires. Also looking at 325/65/18 tires if the little extra width fits. I really like the look of 37"s just not sure I want to trim and cut... Any tips and tricks and or been there done that information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I have the Bilstein shocks, Thuren 2.75” springs, & Thuren trackbar up front front and Bilstein shocks, Thuren shim kit, and Thuren rear track bar. I do quite a bit of towing/hauling so I didn’t want the softer Thuren springs in the rear. The shim kit gave me the lift I wanted to get some rake back in my truck without losing any towing/hauling capacity. This is very similar to your setup. This allowed me to run 20x9 +18 wheels and 37x12.50 tires with minimal rubbing. I started with the trimming suggested on CJC’s YouTube video but rubbed on the pinch weld slightly. I ground back the pinch weld a 1/4” +/- so it was flush with the plastic and now I don’t rub at all.

Looks great with the 37"s!! What is the shim kit you used in the rear?

You can find it on Thuren’s website. It works the same as a typical “spacer style” leveling kit, but it’s a much heavier duty design. The Thuren springs are great for ride. I have them up front, but they are 30% +/- softer than the factory springs and that just kills your towing/hauling capacity. If you don’t tow/haul much, I’d definitely go with the springs, but I spend all summer dragging around a camper and fall/winter pulling ATVs. This shim kit lets you lift it 5/8”, 1”, or 1-3/8”, depending on how many plates you use. It all bolts in place so it’s a very sturdy installation. I ended up with the 2.75” springs up front and 2 shims or 1” in the back. 1” isn’t much, but it gave me back a little rake in the stance and got rid of the “nose high” illusion.

Awesome thank you for that info! After having these soft ride rear Thuren springs its hard to think about going back. I will more than likely go to a set of air bags or timbrens if I need to get back some payload. As mine sits right now the rear is 1/2" higher which is very difficult to see, it looks absolutely level to me...

Can you offset that loss with air suspension ? Such as air lifts 5000?

I have this setup with the air lift 5000 air bags. I’ve never maxed out payload and towing capacity of my truck so I don’t know if that’s effected but I do tow a 20 ft boat long distances with the bed packed full of stuff with no issues.
