The mounting nubs were already in mine, just missing the strut. I don't know if it was a standalone option or only offered from the factory in higher trim levels, but i assume it costs less for the assembly line to keep putting the mounts on. Mine is a bighorn
So I just bought a 2021 tradesman 3500 dually. Found the posts behind the passenger side taillight and installed the OEM dampener strut. Took all of 3 minutes. Just letting everyone know it still runs true for 2021’s.
