Hello All,
I recently replaced my hydroboost on my 2014 2500 Ram due to the truck developing a shimmy when turning and braking at the same time.
I replaced the OEM hydroboost with a new unit from Napa. The install went well but while the truck was still up on jacks and I was bleeding the system (vehicle running turning full left, full right, 5x and 3 full presses on the brakes for about 20 cycels) I noticed the Electronic Stability Control Active Warning Light was on on the dash. I am also getting a "Service Electronic Braking System" message on the dash. I did not have any lights on the dash when I started and now this light appeared.
For clarification, this is NOT the Electronic Stability Control Off warning light you would get if you turn the system off manually with the button on the dash. (Pictured below)
No idea why it is on. No associated OBD codes from by programmer or Bluetooth reader.
No other lights on. No ABS, no Check Engine
The only associated symptom is that my Cruise Control will turn on and say it is ready to set, but will not set a speed. I'm guessing because the truck thinks it is in an "out of control" situation.

The Service Electronic Braking System message
I messed with it for a while and as I turned the truck on and off I noticed that it stopped coming on. I thought maybe it had gone through enough cycles after the system had been super low after maintenance and finally cycled through and corrected itself but once I put the truck in reverse to get it out of the garage the light came back on.
I have since driven the truck for about 50 miles at highway speeds and light is still on .
All prior issues with the shimmy during braking and turning are gone.
Power Steering Fluid and Brake Fluid are full.
