Separate 12 pin plate? Or just 7/12?

I have the combination 7 way / 12 pin connection plate shown in the picture. Is there an individual 12 pin plate available?

Not likely. As I understood when we first dove into adding cameras to the 19-20 trucks that didn't have them, the source of the 12-pin system is still bound by NDA and only supplies to the OEM's. I believe they are all using the combo 7/12 plug setup.

Dang it. That limits my options on my flatbed install.

@Brutal_HO Just to verify. Is this the connection for the 12 pin? I'm assuming that is just a protective cover in the first picture and I plug the cable in picture 2 straight into the 12 pin plate?

Looks like it. AFAIK, the only 12-pin bac there is for the Aux trailer camera.

Just curious why you wouldn't want to locate the camera and trailer umbilical in the same location?

That is just a protective cover on the 12 pin, correct?

The flatbed I"m having installed already has a 7 way plate installed. It may have been cleaner to just install a separate 12 pin plate. Will have to see if the existing 7 way can be replaced cleanly.

I think most of them are the actual connector used for the option/feature, they just have plug seals in them.
