25 years ago I bought a Dodge 2500 cummins... Picked up my New 2021 3500HO 5/10... towed 5th wheel from Central Florida to Montana... so far no complaints... Really like 3500 with Aisin.... tows stronger than my 12 valve with a banks kit... DEF is a bit of a pain but..... I'll most likely keep it....

I bet it was hard giving up that old 12v. There is just something about the dinosaurs, although quiet and creature comforts are nice.

Buddy still has his 94 12V 2500 regular cab long bed 4x4.

It will probably go to one of his grandsons when the time comes.

I’ll probably keep my 99 forever.

Congrats OP! HO is a beast while towing.

Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk I do miss the diesel clatter and being a long bed 2wd it handles better on curves...I replaced the OEM seats with aftermarket seats from Superior Seats. Not cheap, but a little better than new truck and a lot better than the 1996... Reason I'm keeping the "96 is to go to Lowes & the Landfill.. also it would break my heart to see some kid turn her into a Coal Rolling piece of crap... Plus everyone in my will is driving a new car, why shouldn't I ?
I kept the '96 for Lowes & the landfill... No way I was going to let someone turn my old girl into a Coal Rolling piece CRAP.... Replaced the seats with some from.... Superior Seats which are excellent ....

I'd like to add a gear vendors to my '99. The NV4500 OD is just not enough, especially if you have 4.10s.

I kept my 99 (8.0l V10 5spd) after I was stupid and sold my 85 (360 4 spd) we also still have our 03 also.

I wish I had never sold my 79 Trailduster. Now trying to get another...but someone decided they are worth muscle car money now.

Gearvenders with 4;10 rear end would be great... with my 3:56 I have to maintain 75 mph to keep it in the sweet spot 1800 rpm.... G56 would be great also, but easier install would be a Gearvenders...... Mine has 220,000 miles with no issues.....
