Haven't seen too many reviews of these tires figured I would post, I just picked up a set of radar renegade at5 tires for my 2020 mega drw. There were a few factors into buying these, I really had my heart set on toyo at3 but with the price of 22's I just couldn't do over $600/tire. I found the radar renegades on priority tire. They arrived at my door less than 2 days after ordering. The reviews looked good. I went with a 35x12.5r22 they are 3peak rated, 50k mile warranty, road hazard warranty, load range F 12 ply, and were $279 per tire shipped. So far I am very pleased, granted I only have a hundred or so miles on them. They balanced out great with minimal beads, look great, quiet, and very smooth. For the price I can't complain at all. They run slightly under size (34.5x11.5) pretty common. Hopefully they do well in snow time will tell, I will comment when I get a chance and update.20230830_135157.jpg20230830_135148.jpg20230827_205654.jpg 20230830_135142.jpg

I have wanted to try those for a while but every time I need tires the size I want are back ordered. The price of tires is ridiculous so for being 3 peak rated and have that warranty is hard to beat. Keep us posted on them.

I can't argue with that, I have run nothing but toyo and nitto on all of my vehicles for the last 20 years, until the set of wheels I picked up last year that came with haida tires. Had never heard of them but ran them for a year, 9k or so miles and had zero issues or complaints. They have the same amount of tread now as I got them with. So based on that experience and the positive reviews I have seen for these, plus the fact I can literally buy 2 sets for less than a set of toyo I figured it was worth the gamble. I also carry a full size spare for piece of mind.

I had a set of the Radar R7 MTs on my previous truck. They developed hairline cracks all around the sidewalks at about 3 years/10k miles. It wouldn't have been an issue to me if not for the fact that I tow a trailer. Replaced them with Toyo AT3s. I would keep an eye on them for sure.

Good to know, ill keep an eye on them, my last 2 sets of toyos dry rotted on the side walls long before the tread was gone but that's a perk of living in the desert southwest. I also only put 3-4k miles a year on my truck so it's rare to wear out a set of tires before they rot. It will be interesting to see how radar handles the mileage and road hazard warranty if I do have any issues.

I wouldn't know how to put 3,000 miles a year on a truck. I just passed the 1 year mark on mine, ran 30,000 miles. If I get 2 years out of a set of tires I'm happy.
