Hi Chaps, after far too long making a decision on my wheels & tires, I finally bought a set of XD Hoss II wheels and new tires for my 2500 Big Horn. I got 18x9 " wheels with +18 offset and the stance is exactly what I wanted, a wee bit more aggressive than stock, but that looks great. I was gonna buy BFGoodrich T/A KO2's again. (loved them), but got these tires form Canadain Tire for half the $ and the reviews are as good or better than the BFG's so I took a chance on them. (fella down the road has them and loves them).

My issue now is, while I have OEM mud flaps to cover the new wheels/tires at the back, I could really use some fender flares.

OEM flares are $925 CAD + tax and Im guessing they don't come painted (I can paint them thats no big deal, I do my own paint work). Ive read online that folks have mixed views on aftermarket flares like bushwhacker, I want them small & discreet OEM style and no drilling required. Id also like to put the OEM mud flaps back on once the flares are on. What I really want is the plain/simple Laramy style flares with none of the faux bolts on the side.

What are your opinions on Flares, go OEM or other ?

The other reason I want a very subtle Flare is that I may use the OEM wheels in the summer months and I think the big flares will look awful with OEM wheel fitment

OEM are back ordered from stelantis just now too

OEM you would have to drill a lot of holes.

Many thanks !!

found a link on the Mopar store but it lists 2 different numbers for the flares for my truck ? no idea what the difference is:

here is the mopar store link:

https://store.mopar.ca/v-2022-ram-2...ior-ornamentation--moldings-and-ornamentation

they're all fit for a 2022 RAM 2500 BigHorn but it doesnt tell me the difference between the cheaper ones and the more expensive ones. Also hard to know if these come with hardware or not to mount them (likely not).

here are the various part numbers:

FRONT Flares:

Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Right - Mopar (6MS34GXHAC) - $73.80 CAD

Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Left - Mopar (6MS35GXHAC) -$73.80 CAD

Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Left - Mopar (6MS45TZZAC) - $105CAD

Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Right - Mopar (6MS44TZZAC) - $105CAD

REAR Flares:

Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Left - Mopar (6MS37GXHAB) - $85.20 CAD

Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Right - Mopar (6MS36GXHAB) - $85.20 CAD

Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Right - Mopar (6MS42TZZAB) - $120 CAD

Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Left - Mopar (6MS43TZZAB) - $120 CAD

thanks Csaybert, I sure don't wanna dill holes. Maybe bushwhacker is my best bet. Some of the OEM say no drilling, but IDK, maybe that assumes the laramy fender is pre drilled (?)

thanks for this !

The 23 Laramie’s don’t even come with fender flares anymore. Used to be standard on the 22s and lower.

no need to drill holes for anything. clip the plastic off and use the mounting screws. I installed the new pw / rebel flares and they fit perfect.

This is the Mopar OEM flares and spats I bought from moparpartsgiant.com for my 2019 Ram 2500. Just removed the clips as stated above and used 3M automotive doubled sided tape, worked just fine with no issues. Turned out the black spat on the front bottom of the bed in front of the rear tires wasn't needed, what was there was right. Also didn't need the screws just used the ones there holding the wheel well liners. I believe these will work on later models as well, but check for fitment, comes in black so had painted to match the truck.
