If it’s enabled it happens automatically. Change the station and it’s the beginning of a new song, maybe last two words of a DJ, depending on when the track name cuts in

I have found it doesn’t work on symphony hall, which tends to have very long songs. But normal rock / classic stations are automagically new songs when you switch over. If you switch away and switch back it’ll be “live” and might already be at the end of the song or a different song already

You can also take a phone call and hang up and the same song will still Be playing

I don’t know the technical term for the option but I have a replay/rewind button (not to be confused with the << and >> station change buttons). Hit the replay button and you can rewind or go live manually

I have an 8.4” in a tradesman lvl2
I love being able to pause/rewind the raido in our current vehicle too, and have been wondering if my Ram will do the same when it arrives. That's awesome to hear as mine was ordered with the 8.4 uconnenct also. Does it work with regular FM radio?

I love everything about my truck. Coming from a manual I wasn’t sure how I’d like the auto, but the remote start and not having to use the clutch in stop and go traffic is awesome. Plus all the features my old 08 didn’t have heated seats, storage galore, bluetooth, etc.

I love the power and comfort. I love the technology - Cameras, displays, etc. My 2007 had the power but the comfort wasn't there.

Something I didn't even know I was getting......the digital rear view mirror!!!

95% of the time I have a 425 gallon water tank in the back of my trucks and a rear view mirror is worthless!! All I can ever see is water tank.. Not with the digital, I can now see over the tank and what is behind me.20210314_130356.jpg

I love the comfort and layout of the interior and the smooth ride. The fuel economy seems really good ( I only have 1800 miles on it) and love the look
