You definitely want something to keep the rocks down but dont expect your truck to stay clean.
Im happy with the Mopar ones.
Much easier if you take the rear wheel s off.

Wheels extending past the fender are going to throw alot more material. Id be tempted to build my own that wrap the wheel well and extend enough to cover that. I had to do that on my sxs when i put wider tires on. It started throwing mud in my face. The picture below is after i put wheel well extensions on.

Not mine, but a good friend of mine who was doing some racing a few years ago, they got rained out real bad and well, it got messy to say the least.

I just put AEV mudflaps on my truck, they look a little weird without fender flares but they're not bad for the price.

Any chance you have a link to the product you bought?

Sorry, no link, I just went into a big truck parts house and chose the one's I wanted 24" by 36" I believe. Than I came back home made a cardboard template. When I got the cardboard cut the way I wanted, I cut the Flaps to that shape and used a level to make sure they were straight. After I installed them, I had to go back and do a little more trimming as I initially made the one on the passenger side a little to close to the exhaust pipe.. See this Link and the Pictures below to how I made them.

FWIW I purchased these through Northern Tools.
Composite construction with rain grooves 24x30, 3/8" thick.

Tried looking around and aside from one shady website, this was the cheapest I could find them.
They have several thicknesses and sizes dependent upon what you want to do... I went with 24" wide as I want them to be a bit wider than tire.

This is the link to the manufacturer but you can't buy from them... however you can see available sizes, thickness, and part #.

And if you want weights you can certainly but them as well... found plenty on Amazon and Ebay.

Following @1FastHemi example, I went ahead and ordered the mudflaps and they just came in...

2 pair $70-ish shipped
24x30 and 3/8 thick at the lands, 1/8 in the groove.
Doesn't flex much along the length, but the grooves do make it roll along the width (but that shouldn't be an issue).

For those with the Duraflap, are the dimensions similar?

I decided on 14" rather than 12" wide flaps otherwise one pair would have been sufficient...maybe I'll slap the extra bits I have on my wife's or daughter's car...lol

Yes, those measurements are same on the thickest part.
Probably on the grooves as well. Are you planning on weighting them?

Thanks for the info...
Weighting them is a thought... probably the rear one for sure, no idea about the front.
There is allegedly a 'truck' place about 1.5hrs north of me... may be worth a motorcycle ride to see what they have.
