Has anyone successfully mounted a pair of the Mopar off road running boards?

Picked up a set off a TRX, they are not a direct fit, it will take a little fabricating. Just wondering if anyone has gone that route?

Yes, they are much wider, cast aluminum with a line-x type coating. Looks like the 1500 comes with bolts attached, the 2500 does not so I’ll probably have to drill to get them to fit. Never had to drill a truck before, anything I should be aware of except the obvious, prime and seal the holes?

There are similar looking aftermarket ones I’ve seen...why not just buy those and not have to drill anything?

I just assumed they would fit and you know what they say when you assume. I was picking up a Rambar from a guy and he had these for sale too so I grabbed them. May just re sell them and go a different route.
