Anyone know if it’s possible to use this harness to add a USB outlet to the rear where I circled? I tried searching but didn’t come up with anything.

That looks like the power/multi media connector for the center console. Should work, have you probed it with a test light?

Thats what I figured it was. Not yet, I may do that later today. I’ve been searching for a way to make it work but I’m having trouble finding an outlet that’s powered by a USB if that makes sense. I know I’ll need this harness but I’m not sure what the next piece would or should be.

I'm almost finished with this mod. I'm just waiting on the factory usb harness, but confirmed that it does work with a temporary usb jumper cable.

Here's what I had before:
5C9962EC-14F0-4688-977A-2A34D93F81D2.JPG
Here's after:
19C57BEE-96AF-44A0-9BAD-53998F81930A.JPG
For the new face plate I ordered part no: 6QT85TX7AC - Console End Cap - $142.24. Mine came with the usb and 115VAC outlet. Otherwise the part number for the USB only outlet is 68402777AF.
Drivers seat harness to rear USB panel: 68468100AA - WIRING. Seat. Left - $86.70. XY360 connector and female usb under drivers seat to arm rest USB, rear USB and 115VAC connections for the rear outlets.
USB factory cable: 68096423AC - $24.86

Other items:
The main power line from the truck did not exist at the XY360A connector under the drivers seat. On my truck however, it was fused and existed on the PDC side of the XY125 connector under that dash. In my case, I salvaged a male pin and female pin from the old driver's seat connector and ran a new 19 awg wire between the two. It is Pin 46, red wire on the XY125 connector to Pin 1 on the XY360 connector.

The usb cable will connect to an open USB port on the hub in the center console to the new harness drivers seat harness. The power line from the XY125 connector will connect to the XY360 connector under the drivers seat as well. I did remove the center armrest/seat for easier access and cable routing.

Best of luck.

This is awesome! Thank you. This is next on my to-do list.

Was that USB just laying under your seat? Or did you have to find it? I want to add the factory USB ports to the rear center console.

Yea it was just laying under the drivers side seat. Shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Hmm was it under the carpeting or anything? I have a bighorn with the center console and I can’t find that USB. I would love to add the factory USB to the rear of the console.

I have this in the center console. I wonder if it’s different since you have the jump seat?

No ports in my jump seat.
I just walked through the lot I bought mine from. All of the 2021s with jump seat have a usb plug in the center console, not the rear just under the lid. I wonder if that’s why mine doesn’t have this usb. Also the usb in my console does not activate the CarPlay feature.

I had to run a USB jumper cable from the back of the USB port on the lower part of the dash, under the carpet to the new USB port for the 2nd row. I ordered part no: 68096423AC.

Thank you for posting this. I just ordered the parts you listed and am ready to install but have a few questions. You had to run the the 68096423AC from the in dash usb to the rear hub under the carpet. But the seat harness you ordered taps into the harness under the driver's seat and also goes to the hub or does it replace the driver side seat harness?

Does the seat have to come out to install?

Do you remember where this plug goes?

Thank you for your helpIMG_20210704_164110732 (1).jpg

So you used the above wiring to complete the pictured after correct? We’re there any unused plugs? I’m wanting to add that USB and outlet along with the rear seat heaters. I found this wiring 52112462AD, but I’m not sure if it would work or not. That one is listed as console wiring where as yours says seating wiring.

Does anyone have a picture with the console removed? (back side of jump seat and back side of console) Want to see how it mounts and what the air duct looks like. My wheels are spinning wondering if I can retro fit this in my 4th gen.
