@jerad I really wish Ram would offer an increased GVWR for the 2500’s, Ford and GM do it. Saw the review on the new GM 2500 High Country and its GVRW was 11,300 IIRC. Funny thing is if you were to limit that truck to 10k its payload would be less than 1,700 lbs……Ram seems to still be the lightest truck of the big 3, loaded out Ram 2500 Limited that I was looking at has a payload of 1,980 lbs.

Heck, if ram just bumped them to 10,800 lbs I’d be happy. Loaded Limited with 2,800 lbs of payload would be great!

WTF did they put on the truck?
I have a 6.4 2500 Limited with most of the 'stuff' and my payload is 2900#

Wow, was that Limited a Cummins?

I've seen folks disregard the payload #s based on their own math and knowing the load rating of the axles. I'm not that good at math to try... lol

It takes less math than GVWR. Look at each axle weight, make sure it’s under the GAWR. That’s it.

Exactly.

Here's my 2500 loaded at 10.5k GVW towing my 36ft bumper pull using an Equalizer WDH. Truck has an astounding 1922lbs of payload (door sticker) with its dumb arse 10k GVWR.

500lbs over the GVWR. Oh no...

900lbs under FAWR. 640lbs under RAWR. 1730 lbs under trailer's GVWR. Alright, alright, alright.

Towing/carrying my Lance 825 TC....next stop will be somewhere in WY.
Nice

We got a Lance 915 back in the nineties and had it until about 2015.

It looks like you have a short bed.

Ours was on a 8’ bed how do you like the short bed variant?
