Never thought I'd get excited about something getting 15 MPG! Ha. I have only taken this on a couple of trips and during the first 500 mile break in, I got 13 on the freeway, averaging 70-75 mph and part of this was going in the mountains, by only at 3,000 feet max. I just went on another 400 mile trip with slightly more than half of it on 2 lane roads and the rest on the interstate. The meter would fluctuate and at best it said 17 but right before I filled it, it said 16.2 because a I had a little city driving in there. I filled it and hand calculated 15.5 so that gauge wasn't too far off. I am pretty happy if it continues to average 15 on the highway as those figures of 12 I see had me a little worried. I suppose it may get a little better over time too but I think the important thing may be the speed too. I probably averaged around 60-65 mph most of this trip and rarely got over 70. Does that magic number seem to be 2,000 RPM before it starts burning more fuel? I have the 4.10 rear end.

I guess these aren't too bad on the freeway. I just did another trip home of 160 miles and filled it up before I left and when I got home and it was 16.5. However, on the way down, I made several stops and had a day of driving around in town and those 250 miles calculated at 12.2. That stop and go sure kills it!

Averaged 15mpg over about 2300 miles this past week, driving from Denver to San Diego to LA and back to Denver. So mostly highway (but with plenty of big climbs and descents), plus some light off-roading and exploring. Power Wagon Hemi 6.4 with 4.10s on 35’s . Not great but all things considered it’s a 7500lb V8 truck on big tires…48223190-10A4-4F9E-800E-54669812F544.jpeg

Yeah I need to get AlphaOBD (and a computer or android to use it). I don’t think I can change the threshold with my TazerRam

15.5 is a darn good hand calc'd number for a gas truck this size with 4.10.s

Now take the egg out from under your right foot and drive the darn thing :p

i hope my 22' Power Wagon mileage will improve after break-in. With only 1.000 miles on the odo the best i can squeeze out is 10.5 mpg (hand calculated) with mix driving.

I calculated a bit over 16MPG on a 400ish mile road trip on my PW. Not gonna complain about a big 400HP V8 in a 7k pound truck getting that mileage.

My best ever on the EVIC was over the summer. Filled up in ATL and jumped on the interstate headed to Hilton Head. It was 18 but I sat in traffic for the final hour on the bridge.

Typically, I see high 12 or low 13s no trailer with mixed driving. I don’t hand calc, it’s not that serious

12 or 13 towing? How light is your trailer? I get 9 at best with a 6k lb 32ft travel trailer.

No trailer as stated ^

Towing my car, I still get around 12mpg. Light and aerodynamic
Towing my rock crawler I get around 10mpg. Mostly tube doesn’t have much drag.

Stumbled on this; just put a TazerRam on mine; had no issues using the Tazer to change the tire pressure set points on front and back.
