Hey guys , have a 21 2500 ram HD.

Any inputs on mud flaps. Was looking into the husky ones over the weather Tec’s. Anyone have any opinions on which one might be the better option.

Thanks

I would recommend I company out of California called Dura Flap. They are all custom fit to your truck and they offer several lengths and options to add, for example stainless steel lower plates like a semi flap. Supper durable and approx 1/4 inch thick. I have had them
On my old truck from 2015 to 2019. I switched them over to the 2019 without any issues. Best mud guard I have ever owned.. let me see if I have some pics to share.

I have the Huskys on my 2021 and they are working out great so far.
Seem to be good quality and took about 10 minutes to put on.
This is the only picture I have on my computer but I can post a few more tomorrow if you want to see them.

I had a set of OEM ram rubber/ plastic molded mud flaps on my 1500 years ago and they rubbed the paint off of the outer lip that was underneath the flap. Very similar material like the weather tech and husky type. I was shocked when I saw this only after 1 year of use on the truck. If you decide to go with something like this you may want to place a piece of clear plastic film along the paint edge to add some additional protection.

I looked at a bunch of them before deciding on Weathertech. I like the clean look and they seem to give me the needed coverage. They're also very easy to install. If I were running larger tires or spending a lot of time offroad, I'd probably look at something a little wider and more flexible.
