Hey everyone. Im a current 5th gen Ram 1500 owner and aspiring Ram 3500 DRW owner. The wife and I are looking to get a large 5th wheel in the next year or so and travel full time. Just here to learn everything i can about these trucks.

Hello,
Well....... the 3500 DRW are: bigger, heavier and powerful trucks (I'm talking about the Cummins ones). It will not be a smooth cruiser such as the 1500 you currently own, but if you plan on towing a large 5th wheeler you won't be disappointed at all, for sure!
Routine maintenance (tires brakes oil changes) are pretty expensive.
Major mechanical repairs outside the warranty period are astronomical.
Fuel consumption ........... well you just close your eyes and pay the bill.. LOL !
Registration (here in CA): the heavier your towing.......... the more you're paying .....

Other than that: DRW's are awesome trucks !!
