I alluded to this in someone else's thread, but I'll start a new thread. As everyone here knows, sometimes in order to get an item you want you are forced by a package to take items you may not. In this instance, the upper trim levels get the 7,462(OK maybe it's 17)speaker sound system. I currently store a ton of stuff under my rear seat, but the factory sub takes up the whole bin on the right side. If anybody is doing work in their cab that requires removal of this speaker, or maybe there is another grouchy old *&^$%@* like me who is curious, I'd like to know if the stereo is functional with that speaker unplugged. No weird stuff, no codes, etc.
