Fuel Filter part numbers

So I need my first fuel filter/oil change. 2019 Ram 3500 Diesel Does anyone have a definitive pair of part numbers for the front and rear fuel filters? Auto Zone and the like don't have much if anything listed for 2019 Rams. I'm not near a Ram dealer and when I stopped at Grease Monkey to check prices the head guy didn't even know that the rear filter is different for the 2019's.

Try Geno's Garage. I have always stuck to Fleetguard, Racor, or Mopar fuel filters for my Cummins.

Here you go, just did this and got the filters from geno’s garage:
1 FS_MOP68436631AA FUEL FILTER (CHASSIS MOUNTED) - MOPAR ('19 - '20, 2500/3500/4500/5500 & '20, 1500)
1 FS_MOP68157291 FUEL FILTER - NANONET - MOPAR (10-19, 6.7L) - 68157291

The part numbers @Omarf4 posted are Geno's Garage part numbers. Remove the FS_MOP prefix for the real Mopar part numbers.

For sh_ts and giggles... what did you pay for the filters? My dealer cost was $83 (front) and $94 (rear). Canbucks, of course.

Yep, Canucks generally get hosed on auto/truck pricing but we really get whacked when it comes to parts.

Last night I did my 15,000 mile service. Oil Change, Fuel Filters, Air filter. Couple interesting observations: 1) I was amazed by how much "stuff" was in my airbox and attached to my air filter. The box had a good 2" of bugs, pine needles, and other interesting things. 2) The rear fuel filter was different than my 17 Ram. So, Ram made an improvement? If they took the time to change the design, why is it still a PITA to do mess free??? I like doing all that myself and it didnt take long, but its such a bad spot and design in my opinion. it is what it is... but after paying SO MUCH for the fuel filters, seams like installing them should be eiser for the guy doing it in his driveway.

Interesting about you air filter. I too was shocked on how much junk was in there at 6000 miles....plus is was black soot covered in addition to our Texas sized bugs in almost every groove. Makes you wonder how open the new grill is and how much junk it lets into the air box...... definitely going to clean out regularly.

Is there a good reference site or list for the filters for our trucks? I can narrow it down at places like Geno's Garage, but I really wish Ram would just put a quick reference list out for their own part numbers like:

• Oil Filter: Part XXX
• Chassis Fuel Filter: Part XXX
• Engine Fuel Filter: Part XXX
• Air Filter: Part XXX
• Cabin Filter: Part XXX

Even on the Mopar Owner site it's impossible to find this info. Even if the parts change, at least there is a reference we can go to that would say that XXX is replaced with YYY now.

I just did both filters this morning and let me tell you that they were snug on there from factory... very tight .... had to use a long breaker bar on the rear. Re-installation was as snug as possible without snapping the plastic....
Tip: get a funnel for the front when you release the drain valve otherwise diesel fuel all over your front axle! Yikes!

I installed tubing that attaches to the filter drain valves similar to what is shown in this video:

When you open the valves, the excess diesel will come out the tubing into a container.

Based on a few docs and posts I've seen for the oil and fuel filters, they would be my last choice. They claim 5 micron fuel filters, but I don't trust the media.

Donaldson makes an oil filter that is a worthy alternative to the Stratapore. I believe it is DBL7349.
