I’m facing the same decision on my 2023, I like the paint match look, just hoping someone can match the pearl white accurately.

The gentleman who painted the orange truck had some sort of a tester that he put against the paint in different areas when the truck was out of the sun. He then plugged it into the computer that came from the paint brand he uses and mixed a perfect match. My 22 is pearl white, have to stare at the paint pretty hard to see any pearl in it, then again my eyes haven't been good since rocks were soft.

FYI, the OEM Laramie flares don't require drilling. You take off the platic tabs and cut off one plastic post. Then they're held on with 3m style tape along the top, and screws/clips inside the wheel well. I had a shop color match and install mine.

Reading this post it sounds like we can't get color matched OEM fender flares? To the folks that had them painted how are they holding up and what was the cost? Thanks

And where do you find the paint code?
It’s a 3 letter code you will be looking for. Should also be on your window sticker I believe.

I installed the OEM flares but had to remove the mini mudflaps . Does anyone know if having the flares restricts what aftermarket mudflaps I can install?

I had the factory flares but swapped them out for Pinnacle ones which I had color matched locally.

Wasn’t really happy with them and really liked the Rough Country ones I have on my 2019 1500 so I swapped them out. I got the color matched ones from them and the match is pretty good with the Granite Crystal Metallic.

I

My only problem I think is how to integrate with my Weather-tech mud flaps. I’m sure I’ll have to do some cutting as I don’t what to loose the flaps.
I totally forgot but you reminded me that i had to remove those little spats or whatever you call the triangle pieces in the bottom corners and the little trim attached to them.

Yeah figured. The weather tech flaps i have which fit really nicely integrate to those triangle factory pieces for installation. I’m sure I can trim the flares to fit. I don’t want to toss these flaps.

the new power wagon flares look good and are reasonably priced.
