Its normal to run in 1:1 for the trans

for the rpm you can always go off the crank pulley if he cant get the signal from the injector pulse…. And as far as drivetrain loss thats almost nothing, just shows how great autos really have become

The facility I used is a university and it's their shop program. And they primarily just tune a Chevy Tahoe they have to put out about 1000 hp it has some minor modifications to it and they just use that as a teaching tool to teach their advanced students towards the end of their college experience. So nobody there was really experienced how to hook up to a diesel so we're just gonna have to wing it
