I think unless you leave it on the DPF screen the message will not appear can anyone else confirm?
Correct. I timed it today (I can tell once I go into regen by watching my mpg’s) and knew I was in regen today while commuting back from work. My mpg dropped to 16.8 vs 17.4 daily average. Changed the evic screen to the DPF filter screen and sure enough, I was in regen mode. 10 minutes later, screen changed to dpf filter status at 0%. All in the background.

Over 11K kms on the beast thus far. The DPF gauge is variably registering 20 to 30 percent or zero. Only once have I caught the auto regen msg, which of course is transparent unless you call up the DPF page. Towed a lot (6K kms) this summer and the gauge, unsurprisingly, was stuck at zero.
