Truck had 1200 miles on it when we left for vacation to the beach from Pa to Sandbridge Va. Averaged just over 21 mpg's with 4 people in the cab and my bed completely filled to the top of the truck cap with everything we need for the beach for a week. Not too bad. And thats had calculated not lie-o-meter !!!

I never will see that :D:D 12.5 in town and maybe 14 on the freeway.

Towing - depending on the weight of the trailer and terrain - I have hit 7 MPG to 10 mpg.

Gas... diesel? Axle gear ratio...4wd?
These things can effect results.

Not a surprise. On my one long non-towing road trip (1600+ miles in 2 days) with my 18 2500 Mega CTD 4x4 3.73, I pulled 21.5 hand calculated. And I was not taking it easy. 8-9 over all the time on mostly 70-75mph roads. EVIC read 23.5mpg, so that was off significantly. I was still very happy with 21.5 though.
