I am having issues with my 2019 ram 2500 heating and air conditioning. As I am driving the temperature will not stay constant. The other day it was a little chilly outside but had to set the timpratue at 66 degrees and I could feel the passenger side was much cooler air blowing out as compared to the drivers side and then it would get warm then to cool and I must have adjusted it 5times in a one hour drive

Do you have your driver's side and passenger side climate control synced?

I took it to the dealer yesterday 12/11/19 and was told that I need to leave the recirculating air turned on and leave the synchronization feature turned on all the time. By doing this eliminates the duel climate zone function and just don’t seem right to me. And I have got to say that it still doesn’t work right.

Thank you. I’m not an idiot and when the service “Manager “ told me this I said that I would try it but don’t think that this is the problem.

It amazes me how uninformed some staff at the dealerships are.
But they state these "facts" as if they know its true.

i don’t know how to PM but I have tried what the service manager told me to do and it is BS when I set both sides the drivers side blows hot while the passenger side is cool. I’m weary of goi to another dealer because I don't want to pay a service charge if they tell me the same stupid answer.. I would like your help Mark

You wont...or shouldn’t pay a service charge for something covered under warranty.

Maybe there is a bad sensor, blend door, or programming. It’s seems to be a common occurrence with new 19s getting warmer than they should When trying to cool. Let us know any resolution.

I have close to the same issue . Mine fluctuates between hot and cold . so I am constantly either raising or lowering the temps . I have a 2016 3500 and none of these issues . New PW ( 2019 ) and always changing temp . Total PITA . Driving from Florida to Md and I'll put at 72 , then it becomes blazing hot , so have to put it down , then vice versa . Unacceptable on a 65k truck . I dont trust my dealer at all , they try to treat me like an idiot . I took in 3500 for service , pick up truck they had broke the attachment for my Amp steps , so I had to order another cable ( 100$ ) , then my light bar wouldnt work . I was told that was because my rear cab light was out ( have a cap , so dont need to fix it ) . I explained it was hard wired and not integrated into the system . I took my truck home fixed both , I guess I need to find a reputable stealership .

Sorry for the rant , just hate having an older truck with 100k miles run like a top and less then 1 month old truck have minor issues hehe .

Its funny how the reps say we are here to help , but when it gets real , they FADE away without any real world help . We all know the stealerships arent our friend and when our internet heroes cant help , we know we dont have any real options to fix our 65k trucks other then to maybe find another brand to be loyal to . I have nothing in my driveway except MOPAR , even tho one is 1984 Jeep Scrambler ( well in the garage ) and if my new truck cant keep me comfortable , might be time for another brand .

Compared to my 2016 1500 Ram, the heating and cooling in this truck is horrible. I set it on 68 inside and it burns me alive! I wind up having to set the temp much lower. Its like the system has no idea how warm it really is inside the truck and it is going off outside temps? I thought I might be the only one with this problem. Has there been any remedy?
