Clicking after shutting off engine

I’m curious about a clicking sound coming from under the hood after shutting off the engine. It clicks about 3 times then stops. I’m guessing this is normal, can anyone tell me what’s happening when it’s clicking?

Completely normal, I believe on the diesel's that sound is the DEF system purging the fluid back into the tank

It is also the shutter in front of the radiator making noise

EGR valve cycles to clean itself to try and prevent too much carbon buildup
